When we first decided to head over to Victoria, Melbourne for a sourcing trip, we knew that we had to get Kelly (Benna Co) on board. Interestingly, Benna Co started from a curated vintage ceramic business. When her business grew, she realised that she couldn't keep up with the demand for vintage planters, so she decided to try her hand at making some!

It's been quite some time since our last holiday.. so we headed to the land of mee bakso, teh botol and massive traffic jams for a short break! After landing, we headed straight to Kandura's studio. Located on the boundaries of South Jakarta, their studio is a mere 30-45 minutes drive from central Jakarta. They were previously based in Tangerang and were still in the midst of shifting over when we visited.

Sometime back in October, the both of us were feeling rather jaded and unmotivated so... we went on a weekend trip to visit Hellorat Project's maker, Rani Aryani, in South Jakarta! Well to be more precise, Rani actually stays in Bogor (an hour's drive from Jakarta), so we met up at Tommy's Keramik Studio, a quaint little ceramic studio in South Jakarta which she works from as she has access to her ceramic supplies and a kiln.
