Kandura studio visit

It's been quite some time since our last holiday.. so we headed to the land of mee baksoteh botol and massive traffic jams for a short break!

Jakarta!

Jakarta!

After landing, we headed straight to Kandura's studio. Located on the boundaries of South Jakarta, their studio is a mere 30-45 minutes drive from central Jakarta. They were previously based in Tangerang and were still in the midst of shifting over when we visited.

Their new studio was actually Fauzy's (one of Kandura's founders) vacant family home where he grew up. It's not fully completed yet and renovation works were ongoing when we visited but we were already loving it!

Oh yes, the studio's location adds a rustic yet charming vibe to their workspace - we actually saw horses galloping down the road outside, transporting people and goods! Here are some photographs of their studio -
